This summer, Bay Laurel Athletics hosted a high school student intern, Ryan Choong from Carlmont High School, in Belmont, CA. When training, it’s not just the big, obvious muscles that matter. The small stabilizer muscle groups play a crucial role in overall strength, balance, and stability. Ignoring these can lead to imbalances and weaknesses, which can hinder performance and increase the risk of injury.
